Kleinschmidt has considerable experience in evaluating land use issues, assessing the consistency of proposed projects with existing land use plans and policies, and developing land and resource planning documents. Our staff is intimately familiar with a variety of local, state, and federal land use planning laws and regulations and are experienced at designing projects and proposed mitigation measures to ensure consistency with existing plans and policies. We have worked on numerous projects located within National Forest boundaries and are familiar with U.S. Forest Service planning documents and associated standards and guidelines regarding land development projects.
