Kelly Larimer Elected to National Hydropower Association Board of Directors

Pittsfield, ME– January 3, 2024 –Kleinschmidt Associates, a leader in engineering, regulatory, and environmental consulting, proudly announces the election of Chief Technical Officer Kelly Larimer to the National Hydropower Association’s (NHA) Board of Directors for 2024. This 20-member board unites visionary leaders from across the hydropower and marine energy sectors, all committed to sustaining and growing America’s inaugural renewable energy source.

Kelly is an active member of NHA, and currently serves as the Co-Vice Chair on the NHA Pumped Storage Council. She is also an active member of the Northwest Hydroelectric Association (NWHA), the National Parks and Recreation Association (NPRA), the Utilities Roundtable on Cultural Resources, and the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) Shoreline Management and Recreation Group.  Since joining Kleinschmidt nine years ago, Kelly has made significant contributions, most notably since assuming her role as Chief Technical Officer in 2021.
