Andrew Yoder has five years of hydropower-specific experience and specializes in Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and data analysis with a focus in spatial data, remote sensing, and geomatics. He is experienced in collecting and analyzing spatial data, including piloting drones for photogrammetric mapping. Andrew is versed in modeling of fish passage and spatial stream networks. He utilizes software packages including ArcGIS Pro, ArcMap, and QGIS as well as programming in Python and R. He specializes in UAS surveys and holds an FAA Part 107 drone operating license. Andrew joined Kleinschmidt after earning his B.S. in Geography from Penn State and hopes to use emerging technologies to develop innovative data products.
