I will continue to expand my passion and our capabilities in pumped storage development and engineering studies.”
Carl is a Principal Consultant at Kleinschmidt with over 24 years of experience in hydraulic, water resources, and hydropower engineering. Carl’s experience includes hydraulic engineering expertise supporting and leading hydropower projects ranging from small hydropower development to new gate installations and upgrades to leading large pumped storage screening, pre-feasibility, and feasibility studies. Carl has worked closely with a broad range of clients, including many federal organizations such as Veterans Affairs, the United States Army, the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), and the Bureau of Land Management (BLM).
Carl holds a Master of Science in Civil/Hydraulic Engineering and a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering. He is a registered Professional Engineer and a member of the National Hydropower Association, serving on the Pumped Storage Committee.
