Scientist

“Kleinschmidt offers a wide variety of projects that are constantly keeping me interested and engaged in my work; there’s never a dull moment. I am eager to solve problems and strive to follow scientific methods, literature, and theories to find innovative and cost-effective solutions to Kleinschmidt’s complex problems.”

Hannah is a Staff Scientist in our Pennsylvania office who is involved in work that crosses many disciplines, involving GIS data analysis and mapping, remote sensing, wildlife, botanical, and fisheries studies, wetland delineation, FERC relicensing, water quality testing, and recreation studies. She uses her GIS and remote sensing skills to support multi-disciplinary studies. Her passion for the environment and clean energy production motivates her to implement new, cost-effective ideas for projects. Her personal skillset includes being PADI SCUBA certified, remote pilot, certified (FAA part 107 certification), and boating safety certified in the state of Pennsylvania.

Hannah has been involved in several exciting projects at Kleinschmidt, including a multispectral analysis of wetland vegetation, a GIS desktop analysis of rare, threatened, and endangered species habitat, and several aquatic habitat studies that utilize instream flow incremental mythology (IFIM).

Hannah earned her B.S in Environmental Biology at Millersville University and is currently pursuing a post-baccalaureate certificate in remote sensing at Penn State University. She plans to continue her education to earn her Master’s Degree in Geographic Information Systems.
