Jess is a Senior Engineer with Kleinschmidt with 14 years of experience in the industry. She is a geotechnical engineer who has focused on dam safety and rehabilitation projects for much of her career.
Her experience includes developing and managing subsurface investigations, performing stability and seepage evaluations, liquefaction and seismic analyses, filter design, and evaluating instrumentation data. She has spent significant time with boots on the ground observing drilling and construction quality assurance, primarily in Massachusetts, Maine, Tennessee, Alabama, Kentucky, and New York. She has developed and managed construction quality control inspection programs and has prepared dam safety inspection reports and dam safety surveillance and monitoring plans/reports in accordance with guidelines for FERC and other federal agencies.
Jess has her Bachelor (2010) and Master (2011) of Engineering degrees in Civil Engineering from The Cooper Union for the Advancement of Science and Art. She is a registered Professional Engineer in Massachusetts and New York.
