Jordan Johnson
Project Scientist
“My favorite thing about working about Kleinschmidt is the diversity of projects and project teams. Projects at Kleinschmidt often require team members with a wide-ranging group of expertise and experience. Project and team skillset diversity fosters creative solutions and professional growth as you are constantly challenged and exposed to different ideas and lines of thinking.”
Jordan specializes in GIS, spatial data collection and analysis, and database management. He is experienced in study scoping, design, implementation, and reporting in support of the FERC licensing and relicensing processes for hydropower projects. Jordan’s diverse skillset includes experience in water quality, hydrologic modeling, fisheries, endangered species, and wetland related studies and permitting. Jordan is a certified erosion prevention and sediment control inspector, as well as a certified post-construction stormwater inspector in South Carolina. He also is a certified drone pilot, providing remote data collection support for projects.
Prior to joining Kleinschmidt, Jordan worked as a geologist at an environmental remediation site providing project support for ongoing remediation, geological, and geotechnical studies and subsurface characterizations.
Jordan has his B.S. in Geological Sciences from the University of South Carolina.
