“I became a quality convert in 1996 while attending a Total Quality Management (TQM) training for an environmental consulting firm. This training helped me see all our work (and life!) as a process and how we get better outputs and outcomes as we develop better inputs and processes. I’m excited to help Kleinschmidt navigate our quality path in the years to come”

Will joined Kleinschmidt in June 2012 as Kleinschmidt’s first proposal manager and has more than 40 years of diverse scientific and consulting experience. He served as a proposal manager for other engineering firms and previously as an environmental geologist, grant writer, nonprofit executive, and high school science and mathematics teacher. In 2024, Will began transitioning out of his role as Proposal Team Leader into the role of Quality Manager. In this new role, he is facilitating the further development and implementation of Kleinschmidt’s Quality Management System (QMS). Will earned a B.A. in Geology from Williams College. In his non-work time, he enjoys hiking, backpacking, and exploring his adopted state of California.
