Multiple Opening Analysis
Did you know that if you have a bridge opening and one or more culverts at a single river crossing a Multiple Opening Analysis is required?
For all you sediment transport enthusiasts, Marty Teal is giving this webinar in October. I highly recommend it. He has a wealth of experience in sediment transport modeling and is an excellent instructor. Go sign up if you want to learn more about sediment transport modeling in HEC-RAS!

Webinar Content
This webinar explains the importance of sediment transport modeling, how sediment transport in HEC-RAS works and how it relates to normal hydraulic calculations. Erosion, transport, and deposition of sediment are natural processes that provide both problems
and opportunities. Prediction of sediment processes is often important in watershed, flood management, restoration, and environmental studies. Numerical modeling of these
processes can be used to estimate the response of rivers and reservoirs under various conditions (e.g., pre- versus post-project). This webinar provides an introduction to sediment transport modeling as implemented in the widely-used software from the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, HEC-RAS (River Analysis System).
